Urinary Bladder Cancer-Epidemiological and Histopathological Study

Urinary bladder cancer is the main reason for morbidity and mortality throughout world. Urothelial carcinoma a common primary tumor of urinary (90%). To investigate epidemiological histopathological aspects in Libyan patients suffering from cancer, we performed study on 39 biopsies transurethral resection (TURBT) cystoscopic samples obtained Oncology Department- Al Hawari Hospital, over period (2021- May 2022), Tiba Medical Laboratory July Alnoon laboratory (2019- January 2022) at Benghazi, Libya. Of cases, 34 (87.2%) were diagnosed men, 5 (12.8%) found women, men/ women ratio being 6.8/1. The highest incidence tumors was recorded individuals aged between 61 80 years old. In this age group, there admitted 24 with representing 61.5%. most pathological types Invasive Carcinoma TCC (48.72%) followed by noninvasive (46.15%), Squamous Cell SCC (5.13%).
